You Are What You Think- Ayo Oritsejafor

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” (Proverbs 23:7)

You can change you life only by changing the way you think about yourself. “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” (Proverbs 23:7 KJV). Our mind is quite different from our heart. The enemy can fill our thoughts (mind) with all kinds of negative things hence Romans 12:2a KJV advises us thus: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…”. To renew your mind, you need to follow the injunctions of 2 Corinthians 10:5a KJV, thus, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God…”

This goes to show that many times, our heart does not agree with what is in our mind. Your mind is the open floor where the enemy of your soul can easily push in some thoughts that are inimical to your life. As you mediate on things like fear etc for a period. They become strong holds and get into your heart to become your thoughts.

God wants greater things in your life, but you are looking and thinking of little things. Until your thinking faculty changes, you cannot bring a change into your life.

Change your mentality. Desire to be greater and do something tangible about it. Have a mental picture of yourself or your ideal. What do you think of achieving before the end of this year?
