Life Up Your Rod- Ayo Oritsejafor

Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor

“… But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it…” (Exodus 14: 16)

From the above scripture, Moses did not realize or know that the rod in his hand could be used by God to divide the Red Sea. Similarly, the devil is capitalizing on your ignorance to keep you trembling before your Red Sea. No wonder 2 Corinthians 4:4 says: “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them that believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them”. This verse of scripture implies that many people do not know the liberty they have in Jesus Christ.

Do you think that anyone who knows that Jesus can lead him/her to heaven will refuse him? The good news for me and you is that today, you don’t need a rod in your hand; you have a rod in your mouth, for every word that proceeds from your month is a rod. The place you find yourself today is the product of the words you have been speaking in the past. Your words may have snared your business, marriage, job, education etc. This is the reason you have to always make positive confessions no matter how unfavorable your situation is. Your confession should always be “I am blessed and highly favored.”
PRAYER/CONFESSION: Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive everything you have destined for me from the foundation of the world. I claim what belongs to me in Jesus name. Amen.
WORDS OF WISDOM: Your word is a rod. It can limit or promote you.
