The Bible says in II Chronicles 20:2 that it was a great multitude that gathered against Jehoshaphat and in verse 3, the bible tells us that he feared.
Fear is a product of your inability to control the unknown. A child cries when he comes into the world because he meets with the unknown and so is afraid. A dying man fears because he does not know what he is going to face. Once you know what you are up against, what is there to fear again?
When they came against Jehoshaphat, he went to God in prayer and set up a choir to praise God. If you see a man that knows how to pray and praise God, fear him, because he will defeat you any day. When ordinarily he should have gone to war with weapons of warfare, Jehoshaphat went to war with songs of praise. The word “Mighty” as used Jeremiah 33:3 means “secret”. In other words, God promised to show us great secrets when we call upon him. When therefore Jehoshaphat called upon Him, God put into his spirit the secret that would lead to his enemies’ defeat.
Jehoshaphat prayed and took a singing bunch to a battle field. Funny, is it not? Guess what happened. In II Chronicles 20:22-23, the enemies of Israel turned against one another until they totally destroyed themselves. Those who thought they knew you and have ganged up against you shall take up arms against one another until they totally destroy themselves. You do not need to raise a finger. Only Pray and Praise God. You will not die young. The influence of evil foundation is destroyed from your life, in Jesus name, Amen!
