the message below are excerpts from this mornings covenant Hour of prayer as delivered by Bishop David Oyedepo
In the school of the Spirit, it is preparation that makes it possible to see His glory. Psalm 63:1. No one sees His glory without adequate preparation. Preparation will always precede His Manifestation of Glory, John 17:4-5. There must be definite preparation for anyone that wants to see the glory of God. Nothing great ever happens without great preparation. Prayers you pray casually that are not rooted in the scriptures have no future. Anytime you are in prayer, you are before the judge of the whole world.
2 Chronicles 20:6, Amos 1:12 the glory of God will only come down in response to our preparation Exodus 19:10-14- Spiritual preparation to encounter the God of all glory. Don’t approach the 21days of prayers and fasting casually. It is time for us to purify our hearts so that we can see God. Proverbs 16:1, Jeremiah 30:21, the preparation of the heart becomes very vital to reach to heaven for the release of answers to our prayers. We must first prepare our lives to be qualified to encounter Him, and thereafter prepare our hearts. Isaiah 51:1-2 we need to repent of all our sins so that we can freely encounter God’s glory, Psalm 66:18-19, 1John 1:9. There are things we do that 300days of prayer and fasting cannot change, but only access to forgiveness. We need to prepare ourselves maximally so that this year will not be like every other year for us. It takes adequate Spiritual preparation to encounter the God of Glory.
There is no unforgivable sin with God, but there is no forgiveness of sins without repentance.
